Why you should support us.

For over forty years the Tibetan Youth Association in Europe (TYAE) has offered a platform for young Tibetans where they can engage politically. The TYAE seeks independent and youth-orientated answers to all questions related to Tibet. The desire to provide a service to the community has always been, and still is, in the foreground.

From protests, film festivals, concerts, talks at schools, panel discussions, action camps, children's camps, language classes to organising several Youth Parliaments, international solidarity rallies and campaigns - the TYAE works on many levels to strengthen the political awareness of Tibetan youth and promote solidarity among young Tibetans in exile.

The forcible occupation of Tibet by the People's Republic of China must never be forgotten. Therefore the TYAE is constantly striving to represent the concerns of the oppressed Tibetan people to the public in the west. Since its founding, the TYAE has campaigned for a Tibet free from China. Furthermore, as the statutes point out, it has always supported His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and the Central Tibetan Administration.
Since its founding, the TYAE has set a goal to create a place where young Tibetans from all over Europe can meet and exchange. Together we strive to preserve and support Tibetan religion and culture.

We thank you for your support.
